Robotic cutting of plastics without the need for further processing 

The technology of extrusion blow molding of plastics has been known for many years. These parts are usually cut from the so-called deflesh by punching in a mold or by hand. Especially in the production of visible parts, manual trimming is a very demanding activity in terms of the capacity and quality of workers.

After two years of development, we have taught this activity to robots! We dealt with visible parts without the need for further manual processing.

Here we use the special technology of a sensitive robot wrist with adaptive guidance of cutting trajectories, camera guidance for grasping parts and cooperation between handling robots and cutting robots.

We have developed a unique cutting knife that can cut hundreds of pieces in first-class quality.
